It breaks my heart that we live in a world of parents shaming parents.
Maybe it’s because of social media, but I see mom/parent shaming too often. It is easy to act big and bad behind the keyboard. Saying things that would never be said in person.
I wish I had a great piece of advice or wisdom to make it stop or to make it go away. If I’ve learned anything from my baby, it is that motherhood is nothing, if not a humbling experience. I can’t promise that I will be a perfect parent. I can try but the truth is that I will fail.
Because despite all of the books we read, the advice that we seek, and the google searches, at the end of the day we are all just winging it.
No one said it would be easy, but it is definitely worth it.
